Today all Syrians commemorate the day Syria was finally free from the French occupation on the 17th of April, 1946. This day is known as “Eid Al-Jalaa’” in Syria. We joined millions of people in the streets of Syria today as they peacefully remember this special day. It was an amazing experience!
